Meet Cricket Megarity

cricketfrazier@gmail.com

Cricket Megarity joined the Apex Real Estate Company team in October of 2007. She and her husband Mark live with their two dogs (Dax and Kiwi) on Mayo Lake, located north of Durham, just outside of Roxboro. In fact, when she is not selling houses, she can often be found "catching some air" on her wakeboard. Although her specialty is real estate located on or near Hyco and Mayo lakes, Cricket also services Durham and surrounding areas. Cricket loves selling real estate because it allows her a unique opportunity to operate in two very different worlds at the same time. "My father is a mechanical engineer" she explains, "and was largely responsible for my love of science and math, which led to a degree in Genetics from Texas A&M University and 15 years working as a research scientist studying infectious disease. My mother, on the other hand, was quite the opposite. She was an amazing woman - full of life and bursting with creativity. She fostered in me an indelible love of music (especially singing blues and jazz) and an insatiable curiosity about people of all sorts." Real estate has turned out to be the perfect choice of career for Cricket. She not only gets to spend time with new and interesting people, but she also gets to put her scientific reasoning and math skills to good use behind the scenes to ensure that her clients are getting the very most for their money.
